British singer and songwriter Jay
Sean headlined the 30th annual
Deepavali Festival held Oct. 1 at the
South Street Seaport in New York.
Joining Sean was Canadian singer
and songwriter “The PropheC,”
who rocked the evening concert
held as part of the daylong festival
which culminated in
fireworks. The annual festival is
hosted by the New York chapter of
the Association of Indians in
America. Attendees were seen at
the various corporate booths, food
and clothing stalls and watch the
cultural programs. The festival also
included the Inter Collegiate
Dance Competition Naach Inferno.
