Ex files: Richard Gere, left, has a son with wife Carey Lowell. He was previously married to
supermodel Cindy Crawford.
Padma Lakshmi, right, was married to novelist Salman Rushdie. She dated billionaire Teddy
Forstmann until he died in 2011. She also has a daughter with venture capitalist Adam Dell.
Sonakshi Sinha, Saif Ali Khan, Sridevi and Shahid Kapoor arrive at IIFA.
Spring is officially here, and so it seems is love. It’s a cliché for a reason, guys.
According to the New York Post, Richard
Gere, who is divorcing wife Carey Lowell, ‘has
been very recently and quietly dating’ Top Chef
host Padma Lakshmi. A source told Page Six,
‘ They have been quietly spending some time
together. It is all very new and recent, and hap-
Padma Lakshmi lives in New York and Gere
is there to work on TimeOutof Mind.
Peoplemagazine confirmed the news, quot-
ing another source: ‘ They’re just getting to
know each other. They’re just dating. This is
the first person she’s dated since Teddy
(Forstmann) passed away and she’s just put-
ting a toe in the water of the dating world
again. They’re not sure where it’s going yet.’
If wrapping up a $125 million movie isn’t rea- son enough to get a way
for a vacation, then we don’t
know what is. Filmmaker
Darren Aronofsky did just
that, getting away to Kochi,
Kerala after the March 28
release of Noah.
The Oscar-winning director, we hear, couldn’t resist
taking another peek at his
creation during his holiday.
He watched the film in 3D April 16 and even tweeted a picture of his ticket.
What was missing from the tweet, and what we
are keen to know, is how his Indian movie-going
experience turned out to be.
