Vandana Suryawanshi, a middle school
teacher at the Vidya Valley School, Pune,
has been selected as the first international teacher for a prestigious space program in the United States. Suryawanshi,
who has been teaching biology, earth science and general science for 20 years,
will join 19 other teachers, who were
selected for their active promotion of
space and science education by the Space
Foundation.
